It is usually at this time of the week I start planning my football bets for the weekend, and on Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th of October, you do of course have plenty of football action taking place in the UK.
As for where the value lays in the many different betting markets on offer from various betting sites, do make sure that you take a look over the coupon betting markets at Ladbrokes, for by doing so you are going to find plenty of higher than average odds available on selected matches.
With that in mind, and to hopefully give you several pointers as to just which matches this coming weekend will be worth betting on, below I have highlighted several of them and will be giving you my tips as to how I think those matches will end.
Friday night is when you are going to be able to watch the Sheffield Wed v Middlesbrough match, sadly I doubt the home team are going to come out on top in that match.
But if you do you can snap up odds of 5/2 on Sheffield United winning or even bag odds of 11/5 on the draw at Ladbrokes, however my money is going on a win for Middlesbrough and I have already secured the odds of 23/20 on them winning that match!
Blackburn v Leeds
There was a time when I would back Blackburn to win any match they were playing in. However, I do feel that recently they have lost their way and sadly I now back their opponents in most matches!
As Blackburn are playing against Leeds this weekend my money is firmly on a Leeds win, and their win odds are attractive to be perfectly honest at 6/5, but for those of you out there who think the home team will win their odds of doing so are 11/5 and you can also back the draw too at odds of 23/10.
Chelsea and Aston Villa worth Backing
Chelsea are playing against Man Utd this weekend and as far as the expected outcome of that match, that is of course a win for Chelsea and many odds compilers at betting sites including Ladbrokes also feel the same way as they are offering 7/10 on a home team win.
The draw odds whilst high at 27/10 and the away team odds of 4/1 could tempt a few punters to back either outcome, but a win for Chelsea is surely on the cards in that match!
I did spend some time trying to make sense of the Aston Villa v Swansea match, and whilst Swansea could just pull that match out of the bag I think the best course of action if you do intend betting on it is to plump for an Aston Villa win, the odds on all three possible outcomes for the record are even money on Aston Villa, 12/5 on the draw and the odds on a Swansea win are 11/4.
