Plenty of top named golfers are taking part in this year’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open which is yet another PGA Tour and one that will be playing off over in Nevada.
Unlike some of the more modern day and recently founded golf tournaments, this one has been around since 1983 and each year there are plenty of surprise results.
It is the TPC Summerlin course at which the tournament will be taking place and the prize fund is huge, as you would expect at some £6.8million!
BetFred are offering one fifth the win odds on any each-way bets placed, and as they are also paying out to seven places, that is one betting site that does come highly recommended if you do fancy placing a bet on this tournament.
In fact, as soon as I reveal to you the odds on some of the more fancied golfers taking part in that golf tournament that are currently available at BetFred you will probably want to place a few each-ways bets on some of them for the odds it does have to be said are very generous and well worth taking too.
Two Current Joint Favourites
If you fancy a bet on this golf tournament but would much prefer sticking to backing the favourite, then alas you have two of them to pick from as it is both Rickie Fowler and Tony Finau that are both heading the early betting market over at the BetFred betting site.
The odds you are going to be able to secure on both of them are 10/1, which does mean even if you back them each-way and one of those two joint favourites do get placed in one of the final top seven positions on the leader board but do not win you are still going to be in profit from your bet!
Other Golfers in With a Chance of Winning
The really are there for the taking if you do fancy a bet on this golf tournament for with Jordan at Spieth at 11/1 and both Webb at Simpson and Bryson Dechambeau both on offer at 12/1 there is some cash to be made by backing them if they do win or even get placed when betting each-way!
Gary Woodland at 14/1 looks a fair enough bet and I for one would not put you off backing him, in fact as Patrick Cantlay is currently trading at high odds of 16/1, I am more than confident that plenty of punters will be backing him in one way or another.
As for which other golfers could be worth something of a speculative punt, there is the likes of Aaron Wise at 20/1, and there is also the very real chance that Beau Hossler at 25/1 or even Cameron Champ at 28/1 could just scrape into one of the top positions too.
The odds do of course keep on getting higher in value the further that you look down the list of golfers on the BetFred early betting market on this event, and by doing so yourself you will discover that Scott Piercy is very easy to back at odds of 33/1 and you will possibly be interested in placing bets on the likes of Sam Burns at 35/1, Kevin Na at 40/1 or either Ryan Moore or Matt Kuchar at 45/1 if you do fancy any of their chances too.
