It has been quite a while in the making, however with each of the heats of the Brighton Belle having been run, we are of course now at the point in time when we know the six greyhounds that have made it through to the final of that race.
It is of course the Brighton and Hove Greyhound Stadium that will be hosting that final race though, and it is a race that is steeped in history having been sponsored by Coral since its inauguration back in the year 1975.
The race is run over the sand track at Brighton and Hove stadium and the race is 515 metres in length, and as for which greyhound is going to win it, well the one that most punters have seriously been latching onto is Donation.
I did set myself a challenge this morning and that challenge was to find a betting site that still has some decent odds on the runners of that race, and it was Paddy Power that I found does have some rather tempting odds such as 4/6 on Donation.
They are also going to let you back any greyhound running in the Brighton Belle final tonight each-way and their terms on such bets are one quarter the win odds if your chosen greyhound finishes in first or second place.
Second Favourite to Win the Brighton Belle
Whether Donation is going to win this race or not does of course remain to be seen, but as for which greyhound is the current second favourite, well that greyhound is Ballymac Miscula who should run its usual good race.
Just be aware though that Ballymac Miscula has been attracting more than its fair share of support from punters on the ante post betting markets so you need to act quickly if you want to secure the 5/2 odds that Paddy Power did have available earlier on this morning!
Outsiders to Win the Brighton Belle Final
Rackethall Jess is next listed on the ante post betting market for this race over at the Paddy Power site and that could be a greyhound you fancy backing to win or to get placed and as far and its odds go, they are currently 7/1.
Moving onto Dodgers Drum there is not much support for that greyhound, but anything could of course happen in this race so if you do rate its chances then now would be the very best time to secure the rather tempting win odds that Paddy Power have on offer and those odds for reference are high at 10/1.
The last couple of greyhounds that are going to be running in this race are of course the rank outsiders to win, and the first one is Barricane Carina who is extremely easy to back right now at odds of 14/1.
The final other runner is Cooly Bonita and the best odds I have seen available on that greyhound winning are 25/1, but do shop around as I am confident there will be a handful of betting sites that may be offering you much higher odds than 25/1.
